Mercedes-Benz and BMW had already revealed their Vision Gran Turismo concepts. Now Volkswagen has released a teaser for their upcoming virtual race car concept.
Volkswagen teases Gran Turismo fans with a new video game concept car. In the teaser video, the automaker gave a glimpse of what their Vision Gran Turismo concept car will look like. The company also launched a website that previews their virtual concept car.

From the looks of it, Volkswagen’s Vision Gran Turismo concept car made plenty of references to the Golf GTI. On the teaser images on their site, the design of Volkswagen’s Vision Gran Turismo will sport a prominent GTI fender badge. It has a side air intake near the concept car’s door and the tailpipe also has a GTI emblem.

Similar to the Mercedes-Benz and BMW Vision Gran Turismo concepts, Volkswagen is set to appear in GT6 for free through a software update.
Aside from Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volkswagen other companies who committed to the project are Alfa Romeo, Alpine, Aston Martin, Audi, Bertone, GM Design, Honda, Infiniti, Italdesign Giugiaro, Jordan, Nike, Nissan, Peugeot, SRT (Chrysler) and Zagato.
