Nissan teased its upcoming concept of 'high-character' to debut at the Sao Paolo International Motor Show next week. The concept promises to be a unique new genre to the automotive world was co-developed with Brazilian designers and will also be built in the country when it is officially released as part of Nissan’s growth plans in the market.

"The showcar will dazzle on two counts. It is a genuinely new and exciting concept, and it will explode with energetic design and impressive color that fully express our impression toward the country," said Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.
The South American region is considered one of the emerging car markets with Brazil playing a major role. Nissan is currently building a new manufacturing facility in Resende with a 200,000-unit production capacity to start operations in 2014.
Nakamura also revealed that while Nissan designers loved the vibrancy and passion of Brazil, they felt the cars on the streets were conservatively monochrome, so they "made sure showcar might have a color as lively as the country".
From what we can see, the front seems to be derived from the Nissan GT-R flagship supercar, while the overall shapes seems to have been inspired by the Juke compact crossover. It could be a compact crossover heavily inspired the Juke R, which had a GT-R engine and drivetrain transplanted into it.
