Nissan made a suprise reveal of the its ultimate compact crossover, the Juke-R which is by no means near the word joker as it would sound like. Unveiled after the end of the press event for its new Qashqai in Malaga, Spain. Nissan literally shocked their audience as the Juke-R makes its first appearance in the metal.

The Juke-R has been teased through the Internet over the past few weeks and touted to be the world's fastest and most innovative crossover. The car is basically a cross-breeding of the Juke and a Nissan GT-R. But the work done on the car however is not so basic given its 22-week schedule, as leading UK-based motorport specialist Ray Mallock Limited (RML) in collaboration with the Nissan Technology Centre for Europe (NTC-E) re-engineered the whole car to fit in the engine, drivetrain and the complex technology from the Nissan GT-R.

Two versions of the Nissan Juke-R will be made, one in each of left-hand and right-hand drive. Testing of the “super crossover” is scheduled in November.
