Haas Formula One team has confirmed the addition of key technical personnel

After purchasing the Marussia factory in Banbury earlier this year, the Haas Formula One Team has confirmed the addition of key technical personnel as they aim to join the series next year.
Joining the American F1 team are Dave O'Neill and Rob Taylor who have been appointed team manager and chief designer respectively. In addition, the Haas F1 team hired Ben Agathangelou as chief aerodynamicist.
According to Haas F1 team, Agathangelou and Taylor have already designed the 60-percent scale model of their Ferrari-powered 2016 car.

With this, team principal Gunther Steiner said that the team has accomplished a lot in order to be competitive when they join the F1 next year.
“While there is still a lot of work to do, a lot has already been accomplished for Haas to be competitive when we join the F1 grid in 2016,” said Steiner.
If all goes well, Haas will become the first American-led F1 team in 30 years.
