Volvo releases teaser video of 2015 XC90
Swedish automaker listens to their customers
Volvo Cars has released a teaser video of the 2015 XC90, a model set to have its global debut at the 2014 Paris Auto Show in October.
For the 2015 Volvo XC90, the Swedish automaker wants to hear the demands and opinions of various drivers regarding what they want in a car. With this, Volvo’s campaign for the new XC90 revolves on the statement, “People first. We’re listening.”
In the teaser video, Volvo states that “Great design starts with people. That’s why we listen to them.” Various drivers were asked about what they are looking for a car. Volvo says, over a three year period, drivers fed them opinions as they were designing and engineering the car.
Based on the teaser video, people demand a vehicle that is impressive, functional, versatile and innovative.
The automaker further says they brought some of the drivers to Sweden to see how Volvo’s design philosophy works in practice.
