Volkswagen has just revealed the sketches of the 2015 Passat, a car that is set to have its world premiere at the 2014 Paris Auto Show in October.
The 2015 Passat incorporates the automaker’s latest design concept as these sketches present: a sharp looking body infused with a sleek roof line. It also has short overhangs and a grill whose edges extends into the headlights.

The 2015 Passat is based on Volkswagen MQB front-engine platform similar to the Polo and Golf. It will be powered by a 2.0-liter twin turbochargers V6 diesel engine that delivers 243 PS with 500 Nm of torque. Power is mated to a seven-speed DSG transmission.

Volkswagen will also offer a plug-in hybrid model that is powered by a 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine with an electric motor that generates 207 PS.
