Last March 31, 2014, Toyota Motor Philippines launched the 2014 Yaris at Resorts World Manila in Pasay City. The automaker says the 2014 Yaris is styled to make a statement and sports a more confident and stylish design. It is larger than its previous model by over 315mm making the vehicle more spacious and comfortable.

Toyota says the all-new Yaris incorporates the right balance between sharp edges and smooth surfaces. Moreover, the design element of the vehicle is equipped with advanced aerodynamics to give the Yaris a more revitalized drive. It has projector type headlights, extended tail lamps, and blacked out quarter panels.

Inside, the new Yaris is more spacious than its previous model with an increase in legroom by 77mm and a larger cargo space of 81 liters. The larger cabin intends to give the driver and the passengers a more comfortable ride. It has chrome and silver accents to give the vehicle a sporty look.

It will be available in either three variants: a 1.5G auto and a 1.3E in manual and automatic. The new Toyota hatchback will have seven paint finish – Freedom White, Attitude Black, Thermalyte, Gray Metallic, and its new shades of Orange Mica Metallic, Red Mica Metallic, and Frozen Blue Mica Metallic.
