Thai sports car previewed ahead of 2016 debut
Details are limited
Thailand may soon have its homegrown automotive brand as VanaticalDesign revealed a teaser image of a new mid-engined sports car.
Details are limited as of the moment but, the sports car is designed by Jennarong Muengtaweepongsa (remember the 15-year old supercar designer?) and it will make its world debut next year in Bangkok, Thailand under a different company.
Muengtaweepongsa said in a statement that this sports car will show the world that Thailand has what it takes to build an amazing vehicle.
"We are here to show to the world that Thailand can make not just an amazing car, but an amazing feat of artwork and engineering, and from right where you least expect it," said Muengtaweepongsa.
Muengtaweepongsa adds that more details about the car will be revealed soon.
The car is likely to debut at one of two major auto shows in Thailand. Either the Bangkok International Motor Show in March or the Thailand International Motor Expo in December.
