Nissan Philippines launches 2014 Altima
2014 Nissan Altima promises driving excitement in the executive class
Nissan Philippines, Inc. (NPI), the new national sales entity for the Japanese automotive corporation in the country, has just introduced the all new 2014 Nissan Altima during their brand launch the Blue Leaf Filipinas. The 2014 L33 Altima replaces the outgoing Teana as the Nissan flagship sedan in the Philippines.
The 2014 Nissan Altima arrives in the country from the company's factories in the United States, and is expected to raise customer expectations about what the brand can offer. The new Altima features Nissan's latest design language with a wide stance, a sloped rear roofline and a high trunk for an aggressive, dynamic look on the road. The new model measures 4863mm long, 1830mm wide and 1488mm tall with a wheelbase of 2775mm.

The 2014 Altima features a premium interior. The cabin can have either a charcoal or beige interior with seats wrapped in fabric or leather. A key feature of the 2014 Altima are the seats which take inspiration from NASA for a comfortable, well supported driving position that offers the least fatigue on long stints behind the wheel. The rear seats fold down 60/40, and the trunk has a 488 liter capacity.
The 2014 Nissan Altima will be offered in two grades: SV and SL. The Altima SV gets a QR25DE, all aluminum 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. The powerplant makes 180 PS and 243 Newton-meters and is matched with the new Nissan X-Tronic CVT.
The Altima SL gets a VQ35DE, a 3.5-liter V-6 that makes 270 PS and 340 Newton-meters, and is likewise matched with the X-Tronic CVT. All variants are front-wheel drive.
Standard features for the Altima 2.5L SV include fabric seats, 6-airbags, a premium audio system, a smart key fob, anti-lock brakes, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, a drive computer with a 3D display. The Altima 3.5L SL adds an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, automatic climate control, leather seats and a Bose audio system.
The 2014 Altima also gets a new Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) traction program with Active Understeer Control; a system that applies the brake on the inner wheel (while turning) to lessen understeer.
The 2014 Nissan Altima is now available at dealers in Brilliant White, Black Obsidian, Pearl White and Storm Blue.
2014 Nissan Altima 2.5L SV CVT – PhP 1,650,000
2014 Nissan Altima 3.5L SL CVT – PhP 2,030,000
