Next-gen Mini Clubman teased ahead of Frankfurt debut
Second-generation six-door Mini set to have its premiere in September
There are only three months left before the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show and Mini has already released a teaser image of the new-generation Clubman.
Expected to be based on the Clubman concept that the automaker revealed during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, the image appears to show a longer and wider Clubman as the original concept has body dimensions of 4,223 mm long, 1844 mm wide and 1450 mm tall. Compare it to the previous generation Clubman, it will be 260 mm longer, 161 mm wider and 24 mm taller.
Available engines for the upcoming Clubman were not yet detailed though it is expected that the engine lineup for the other Mini models will be offered to the new-generation six-door nameplate including the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four that puts out a healthy 192 PS and 280 Nm of torque.
