Nissan revealed the 2015 Murano prior to its global debut at the 2014 New York International Auto Show.
The 2015 Nissan Murano is the third-generation model of the automaker’s midsize crossover vehicle. Nissan says the new Murano will feature “breakthrough design, premium interior and purposeful technology.”
The automaker says the 2015 Murano embodies Nissan’s new design direction through its boomerang shaped LED headlights, V-shaped front end and a floating roof line.

Inside, it has a refined lower-instrument panel, a wide center console, advanced NASA-inspired Zero Gravity front and outboard rear seating, and a ‘Panoramic Moonroof’.

It features an 8-inch color display with multi-touch control, a NissanConnectSM with Navigation and Mobile Apps, 11-speaker Bose premium audio system, and Bluetooth hands-free phone system.
The safety and security features of the 2015 Nissan Murano includes: Moving Object Detection (MOD), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW) and Forward Emergency Braking. It is also equipped with the new Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) system that detects moving vehicle behind the Murano from either side of the parking space.
Under the hood, the 2015 Nissan Murano is powered by a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine that can deliver up to 264 PS with 325 Nm of torque. It is connected to an advanced Xtronic transmission.
