Mercedes-Benz to reveal the souped-up GLE 63 AMG at the 2015 North American International Auto Show

Mercedes-Benz recently released a teaser of the GLE 63 AMG, a more powerful variant based on the GLE Coupe crossover that was revealed last month.

No exact details were specified by the German automaker, but AMG badging can be seen throughout the car, more specifically on the GLE 63 AMG's trunk lid, brake calipers, steering wheel and seats.

The powertrain of the GLE 63 AMG also remains to be a mystery but the standard GLE Coupe already has a AMG model available which is the GLE 450 AMG which is fitted with a twin-turbo V6 that produces 367 PS with 520 Nm of torque and is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
