The government has previously declared November 18-19 as special non-working holidays while classes in the metro will be suspended November 17-20. It would be wise for people, especially motorists, to travel less during those dates, especially on EDSA. 

Four lanes (two southbound and the other two northbound), on EDSA will be closed off by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) for the exclusive use of some 21 world leaders attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in November.

These APEC lanes will be the four innermost lanes of EDSA, starting from Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City, where some of the delegates will be staying, all the way to the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

There will be a different arrangement on Roxas Boulevard. The entire southbound stretch will be for the exclusive use of APEC delegates while the northbound stretch will be split into a two-way street for the public to use. Below is the rerouting scheme provided by MMDA.

In addition, there will also be a rerouting of traffic flow near SM MOA Arena and closed-off roads.

The rerouting of traffic and closing of roads will begin on November 18, 2015 at 6:00AM onwards.

There will also be some roads near CCP Area that will be closed to the public from November 16 - 20, 2015.

The MMDA will allot 2,000 of the personnel to manage vehicular traffic in those areas.

APEC lanes will be implemented beginning November 16 to 18 on both EDSA and Roxas Boulevard.
