Mazda PH looking to bring in CX-3 by 2016
Berjaya Auto PH, the official distributor of Mazda in the Philippines, is looking to bring in the Mazda CX-3.

It seems like things are going to heat up in the small crossover segment even more.
Mazda Philippines President Steven Tan yesterday relayed to us that Berjaya Auto Philippines, the official distributor of the Mazda brand in the Philippines, is looking to bring in the Mazda CX-3.
The CX-3 is the latest and smallest crossover in Mazda's lineup. It sports the latest interpretation of the company's automotive design idiom and is built and engineered with SkyActiv efficiency and performance.
Tan told AutoIndustriya.com that they are still in the planning phases, and the likelihood of the crossover's arrival is "better than 50%". He continued that arrival of the CX-3 will hinge on what happens when they enter the price negotiation phase.
The most likely timing, according to Tan, would be sometime in the 2nd half of 2016.
When asked about the target pricing strategy, Tan made it clear that the Japan-made CX-3 will be priced higher than the hot-selling Thai-made Ford EcoSport.
