Korean automaker Hyundai has just released the first teaser of the upcoming i30, an all-new model that will replace one of the brand's best sellers in the European market.

The next generation i30 was designed, developed, and tested in Europe, serving as the one of the company's most important models given its position as their contender in the C-segment/compact car class.

“It’s a car for everybody - for the design of the next generation Hyundai i30, we didn’t just look at one customer, we focused on a wide range of different people,” said Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer of the Hyundai Motor Group. “

Hyundai says that the upcoming i30 features a more refined design, one highlighted by the new “Cascading” front grille.

“The design is an evolution of Hyundai Motor’s design language with natural flowing lines, refined surfaces and a sculpted body to create a timeless appearance,” continued Schreyer.
Whie Hyundai did not release any more details about the i30, the statement also hinted that the new model is aimed at delivering high value and that the car will feature an efficient and dynamic powertrain line-up, the latest safety and connectivity features, all to meet the needs of Hyundai's customers in Europe and the global market.

Hyundai said that the next generation i30 will have its world premiere on the 7^th of September prior to the opening of the Paris Motor Show.
