Frankfurt 2013 Preview: Toyota to launch new Hybrid-R concept
New concept car to use same Toyota Hybrid System-Racing technology in TS030

The 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show will witness the unveiling of Toyota’s new road and track concept car. The company will be equipping its latest concept car with the Toyota Hybrid System-Racing (THS-R) technology. It is the same system used in the TS030, the Toyota FIA World Endurance Championship car. The racecar achieved second place in the recent 2013 Le Mans 24 hours.
So far, Toyota has only released a teaser photo of the possible badge of the concept car. The blue and silver symbol is supposedly depicting a letter R with the word HYBRID integrated inside.
Toyota’s press conference will make further announcements on the first page day on September 10, 2013.
