Speculations are finally laid to rest as Ford revealed one of their most iconic performance vehicles in the the Shelby GT350 Mustang.

The Shelby GT350 Mustang features a number of design tweaks compared to the standard 2015 Mustang. Overall, the Shelby GT350 Mustang can be distinguished by a more aggressive and more aerodynamic body.

The aluminum ventilated hood of the Shelby GT350 Mustang has been lowered to achieve better aerodynamics. The front fascia of the vehicle has been redesigned and equipped with an aggressive splitter. Design tweaks continues to be seen at the resculpted aluminum front fenders and forward-angled grill.

The rear of the Shelby GT350 Mustang is fitted with a funtional diffuser that increases the vehicle's downforce. It also has a lip spoiler and sits on 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Inside the GT350 features Recaro sport seats, flat-bottom steering wheel, upgraded gauges and less chrome trim to prevent sun glare that may distract the driver. The Shelby GT350 Mustang also comes with a driver control system offering five modes to select such as stability control, ABS, steering effort, traction control, throttle mapping, exhaust settings and MagnaRide tuning.

Under the hood, Ford says the Shelby GT350 is equipped with “the most ambitious powertrain they have ever done.” The vehicle is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 engine, the first-ever production V8 from Ford with a flat-plane crankshaft. Ford says the engine delivers more than 507 PS and a maximum torque above 542 Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
