Nissan introduced the Chinese-designed Lannia concept at the 2014 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.
The automaker says the Lannia concept was designed by the Beijing-based Nissan Design China and the Nissan Global Design Center to address the lifestyle and taste of China’s “Post-80s” generation. The concept car joins Nissan’s growing family of China-focused models.

"It was designed by Chinese, built by Chinese for the Chinese people, and ultimately, for the world," said Andy Palmer, Nissan Chief Planning Officer.
However, Nissan did not give details about the concept car’s engine, transmission, interior and features.
The Japanese automaker only said that the Lannia concept is a “sedan theory-breaker,” without elaborating.
